The final two of the five planned CRONUS-EU workshops are now scheduled:


Noble Gas Workshop

Location: Potsdam, Germany
Date: 12-15 March 2006


Scope:
Providing a theoretical background to noble gas mass spectrometry and presenting methods to determine the cosmogenic He and Ne concentrations in surface rocks.

Workshop presentations by Heinrich Baur (ETH Zürich), Fin Stuart (SUERC) and Samuel Niedermann (GFZ Potsdam).

Participants:
Although this workshop is mainly aimed at training CRONUS-EU members, a limited number of non-members can participate in this workshop.

Sample Preparation Workshop Part 2: 10Be and 26 Al

Location: Hannover, Germany
Date: 15-17 March 2006


Scope:
Providing the theoretical and practical background of sample analytical chemical  principles and sample preparation schemes.

Workshop presentations by Peter Kubik (ETH Zurich) and Friedhelm von Blanckenburg (Univ. Hannover).


Participants:
This workshop is aimed both at CRONUS-EU members and the interested public, place constraints may limit the numbers of participants
